Our family loves to spend time together, but recently our schedules have been so busy with work, school, activities, and meetings that it is so hard to find a time when everyone is available at the same time!
This past week, we were finally able to schedule a family movie night (yes, we actually have to schedule something like that). We decided to watch The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
since it had recently come out on BluRay/DVD and my mom hadn't seen it yet. It was nice to be able to spend a few hours all together just doing something as simple as watching a movie.
Bilbo Baggins from The Hobbit - sorry for the terrible quality- it's always so dark in that movie!
Of course, if you have a movie night, there has to be popcorn involved. I was so thrilled to get the chance to try Kernel Season's Movie Night Party Pack with my family! Unfortunately, the movie was too long for us to have popcorn after it that night. So we did the next day!

The Movie Night Party Pack comes with 2 popcorn packs, 2 oil packs, and 4 all-natural popcorn seasoning shakers- Butter, White Cheddar, Nacho Cheddar, and Kettle Corn.
The popcorn packet really surprised me! I didn't think the amount of popcorn that came in the packet was very much, but it ended up being enough for six of us to have a great snack!
I had actually never made popcorn on the stove before, but I am definitely going to make it that way as often as I can! It was so quick and easy!
We had a great time trying all the different popcorn seasonings. I really like the variety of flavors that are included- there's Butter for those who want traditional popcorn, White Cheddar and Nacho Cheddar for people want a little cheesiness, and Kettle Corn for a sweeter taste.
We were all very evenly split in our favorites!
- G - White Cheddar
- H - Butter
- T - Nacho
- E - Butter
- Z - Nacho
- Me - White Cheddar
We're not a huge Kettle Corn family, but my brother tried a little and said it does taste just like kettle corn!
