Friday Five: 3/21/14

Today I present to you 5 of my favorite things from the past week. Enjoy!

-This medley from Frozen and Passenger. Sam Tsui blends the two songs perfectly, creating a sad love song that is also full of strength. Enjoy it below.

-This picture is so adorable! I absolutely love ALL things Disney and this collection of all the outlines of female heroines and princesses from all the movies is excellent!

-This dress that Liz from zilredloh made that was inspired by Talbots' Bardot Dress. I too absolutely loved that dress, but found it too late - they don't carry it anymore :( But, happily, my Google search brought me to Liz's blog, where she explains how she made her version of the dress. I love her take on it!

-This recipe for Thin Mint Oreos that Carrian from Oh, Sweet Basil shared. Oh my goodness - I think I could eat all of these if I made them. Anything mint and chocolate is good in my book. I'm putting the ingredients on my shopping list!

-This book has had me thinking about it all day. I can't wait for a spare minute to read what happens next. I try not to watch a movie without reading the book first; it's a pet peeve of mine :) It looked like I wouldn't get this book in time, but at the last second, it came in for me at the library! I'm so glad it did. While it's not as good as The Hunger Games (what is?☺), it's good Dystopian fiction with some great descriptions and action so far - I'm liking it, and it makes me excited to see the movie!

Buy it here!

Well, there you have it! What have been your favorite things from this week?
