Dali Decals Review and Giveaway!

At my apartment, we have very little furniture. That is because our apartment is only 675 sq ft. My fiance and I decided not to get a headboard in our small bedroom because it would take up to much room. Our bed is actually centered in between two windows, so it would be very hard to find a headboard that fits as it is. The Dali Decals Swirling Henna Headboard Decal is perfect for us!
I was very excited to try Dali Decals as I have heard so many wonderful things about the company! Dali Decals is a company that sells wall decals, or wall stickers, that can transform any rooms of your household! They are simple to install and an easier way to apply a design with out the hassle of painting! They have many wall decals from headboard and quotes to murals and baby/kid decals! I love the variety of different wall decoration that Dali Decals has!
When I received my wall decal it came shipped with instructions, a practice decal and a small squeegee. For most of the decals I would think that this is very simple to install, for me it was a little more difficult. Since it was a headboard, it was very large. I think it would have been easier to install if it wasn't just me and I had some help from my fiance. Of course, he was in the middle of playing video games at the time so I was doing this solo. (This is the reason there are no photos of me in action.)

First, I peeled off the backing. Now this headboard is one large piece, so It was kind of hard to apply alone. I suggest you have at least one other set of hands. Peeling the backing of the headboard was quite easy, but I did have a few parts that kept sticking to the backing so it took a bit to make sure nothing was ripped or tangled. This headboard is also very feminine and delicate with small lines and lots of curves, so that probably contributed to is as well. Once I had the headboard taped where I wanted it I started to peel back the first half of the decal and apply it. I went over the decal a couple of times really good and then went on to apply the next half. The walling in our apartment is a bit textured, so I had to go over it a few times again because their were many small lines that didn't stick the first time. After I went over them a few more times though, it stayed put!
Dali Decals really is a great way to had a great inexpensive touch to your home! The Dali Decals headboard decal really is a great addition to my bedroom! I was so scared I would apply this crooked, but I think it came out fine! I really do love this little whimsical decal and I think it pulls my flower curtains and my feminine bedroom together. I did realize after this was applied that it had these fleur-de-lis in the top corners of the design that I don't think was supposed to be there from the picture. I have not decided if I like them or not but I was hoping you could all help me!
Do you all like the fleur-de-lis? Or should I take them down?
